Episode 2 – The Missoula Study. In this episode we interview Ethan Russo, MD to discuss his 2001 landmark study of 4 of the initial patients in the Compassionate IND program – “Chronic Cannabis Use in the Compassionate Investigational New Drug Program: An Examination of Benefits and Adverse Effects of Legal Clinical Cannabis.” This is the first study of long term effects on patients using known amounts of low grade quality controlled marijuana. Cannabis Use Disorder and Cannabis Hyperemesis Syndrome are also discussed. Dr. Russo updates us with his current work at CreDo Science.
